How to plan a proposal in Chandigarh

A proposal is the one setup where getting it wrong is expensive in a way money cannot fix. The photograph outlives the evening by decades.
This is the order we would plan it in, and the parts people usually get wrong.
Decide indoors or outdoors first
Everything else follows from this. Outdoors gives you scale, skylines and candlelight that photographs beautifully, but it depends on weather and needs a backup.
Indoors is completely controllable and works year round. A heritage courtyard, a private room or a rooftop with cover gives you the atmosphere without the risk.

Work out how you will get her there
This is the part that fails most often. The setup is ready, and then the story about why you are driving to a rooftop in Sector 26 falls apart in the car.
Have a reason that survives questions. A friend's dinner, a work thing you have to drop into, a restaurant booking that "someone recommended". Tell whoever is setting up what the cover story is so nobody contradicts it.
Decide whether you want it photographed
Most people decide afterwards that they wish they had. A photographer positioned out of sight gets the moment itself rather than the posed pictures afterwards.
If you want it, arrange it at the time of booking rather than later. Add-ons are paid in full when you book.
What it costs and when to book
Proposal setups start at ₹18,000. That covers the flower work, candle aisle, signage and the setup itself.
Book at least 15 days ahead for a custom setup. If the venue needs booking on your behalf, the full venue amount is paid at the time of booking.
A 50% advance reserves your date. The remaining 50% is due at least four hours before the event.
Keeping it a surprise
Plan over WhatsApp rather than anywhere she might see. Have whoever is setting up deal with the venue directly so there are no calls you have to explain.
Ask for photos as the setup comes together so you can approve everything without being anywhere near the venue. This is normal and most people do it.
